Payment of parking fees
The municipality of Ankaran operates public car parks through its public utility unit. It operates a total of over 862 parking spaces. The car parks are equipped with signs indicating the parking regime and the parking rates for a particular car park.
Before parking the car, the parking fee, of which amount depends on the duration of parking, must be paid according to the list of rates valid for individual car parks. The proof of parking fee payment is a parking slip, except in the case of using the “SMS parking” service or the “EasyPark” application, where the payment is recorded in the control system of the Municipality of Ankaran. Persons with permanent or long residence in the Municipality of Ankaran may also purchase Car Park Season Ticket.
